SOLID RL 580 is a flexible filling material that fills the pores of rough asphalt and concrete surfaces before the final coat of paint, providing a smooth base. It enhances the adhesion of other layers to the asphalt surface.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
SOLID RL 580 is available in plastic barrels of 60 kg and 25 kg. Store the material in a dry environment, protecting it from adverse effects of sunlight, rain, excessive heat, and cold. Unopened packages can be stored for up to 12 months.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The ambient temperature should range between +15°C to 35°C. Avoid application when relative humidity exceeds 80%. To prevent surface condensation, the surface temperature should be at least 3-5°C above the dew point.
It's important to note that consumption increases at lower temperatures. Surface temperature should be at least +5°C and at most 45°C.

SOLID RL 580, Resurfacer, is an acrylic emulsion-based waterborne material designed to increase adhesion to asphalt and epoxy-coated qualified concrete surfaces by filling rough, porous surfaces and creating smooth finishes.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Asphalt Surface:
Existing Asphalt Surface: Clean the surface from dust, dirt, and foreign materials. For areas requiring repair with fresh asphalt, heat the lower surface with pumice stone to ensure fusion with the hot asphalt.
After repair, once the surface is completely dry, perform a capillary wash with water at 6 bar pressure.
New Asphalt Surface: Before preparing the new asphalt surface, the lower surface should first be compacted and leveled with a filler material containing up to 5% moisture. After leveling, cover the surface with Geotextile. Apply Geotextile at 120 gr/m² for risk-prone surfaces or 80 gr/m² for non-risky ones. After Geotextile application, proceed with asphalt application and provide the necessary slope according to standards. After asphalt application, wait for complete drying for 14 days. Post-wait, perform a capillary wash with water at 6 bar pressure to remove accumulated dirt and foreign materials from the surface.
Concrete Surface:
Clean the surface from dust, dirt, and foreign materials. For areas requiring high filling, repair with SOLID WET 365.
APPLICATION METHOD
SOLID RL 580, Resurfacer, is applied with a mixture of 60% silica sand and 30-40% water, using a gelberi for 1 or 2 coats.
