SOLID RL 480 is an acrylic resin-based, water-based, breathable paint with high durability against external conditions. It is specifically designed for tennis courts but can be safely used in basketball, volleyball, and similar court applications.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Asphalt Surface:

• Old Asphalt Surface: The surface is cleaned of dust, dirt, and foreign materials. If the surface is to be repaired with fresh asphalt, it is heated with a red-hot pumice stone to ensure fusion with the hot asphalt to be applied on top. After the repair process, the surface is thoroughly dried and cleaned with a 6-bar pressure wash.
• New Asphalt Surface: Before preparing a new asphalt surface, the underlying surface should be corrected with a filler material containing 5% moisture content. After leveling the surface, a Geotextile cover is applied before asphalt. If the Geotextile application is risky, 120 gr/m² should be applied; otherwise, 80 gr/m². After the Geotextile application, asphalt is applied, and the necessary slope is given according to the standards. After the asphalt application, it is left to dry completely for 14 days. After waiting, a 6-bar pressure wash is performed to remove accumulated dirt and foreign materials.

Concrete Surface:

The surface is cleaned of dust, dirt, and foreign materials. If the surface requires substantial filling, it is repaired with SOLID WET 365.

APPLICATION METHOD

SOLID RL 480 is applied in three layers. The first two layers consist of a mixture of 60% silica sand and 20-30% water, while the final layer is diluted with 5-10% water and applied with a squeegee.
