Surface Preparation
The application surface must be carefully cleaned of dirt, oil, and grease. Loose old paint (on previously painted surfaces) must be removed. Rust and burrs on the surface should be cleaned using a diamond-tipped machine according to SA 2 ½ standards. Application can be done with a brush, roller, or spray gun. When spraying, a mask must be worn. Particularly in small and enclosed areas, very good ventilation is required.
Product Usage
Before use, the components of EPOXY CP 190 must be mixed thoroughly and separately. Then, a homogeneous mixture is prepared with its specific hardener. On a surface previously primed with Solid Resin 360, apply 0.600 kg and sprinkle 0.500–1.000 g of chips. To prevent condensation, apply only to clean and dry surfaces above the dew point temperature. Paint temperature should be between 20–35°C. For very long spray hoses and paint temperatures below 15°C, thinning may be necessary. This may result in lower film thickness and longer drying time. Application can be done with a brush, roller, or spray gun. When spraying, a mask must be worn. Especially in small and enclosed areas, good ventilation must be ensured.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Ambient temperature should be between +5°C and 35°C. Do not apply when relative humidity exceeds 80%. To prevent surface condensation, the surface temperature must be at least 3–5°C above the dew point. In windy conditions, consumption may increase. Surface temperature should be at least -5°C and at most 45°C.
