PREPARATION OF THE MIXTURE
Before starting the mixing process, make sure that the material temperatures are between +15⁰C and +25⁰C. Component A is mixed separately with a low speed mixer for a reasonable period of time until it becomes homogeneous. Then component B is added to component A and mixed with a low speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained (approximately 3 minutes).
In order to prevent possible mixing errors, the final mixture is placed in a clean and suitable container and mixed for a short time at low speed to make it ready for use.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The air temperature during application should be between +10⁰C and +30⁰C. Relative humidity should not be more than 80% and the surface temperature should be between +10⁰C and +30⁰C. Floor concrete moisture content is 4%. It should not pass. The ground temperature should not be less than +8⁰C and should be at least +3⁰C above the dew point.
It should be known that consumption will increase in windy weather applications. The surface temperature should be at least -5°C and at most 45°C.
HOW OF USE
Pressure of the surface to be applied; its strength is at least 25 N/mm², and the strength of the ground concrete (pull off) is at least 2.5 N/mm² should be. Floor concrete curing and the moisture content of the concrete should be 4%. It should not pass. The floor temperature must not be less than +8⁰C and must be at least +3⁰C above the dew point. Terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane coated surfaces should be lightly polished.
The surface must be dry. It should be cleaned from dust, dirt, paint, oil and similar substances that will reduce adherence. Eyelet The gaps must be filled. Oil-absorbed surfaces should be cleaned with chemical cleaning materials; The surface should then be cleaned once again with a water jet. Puddles of water remaining on the surface should be removed from the surface with the help of vacuum cleaners.
The cleaned surface should be mechanically abraded and finely roughened. A surface must be obtained. The dust layer formed after mechanical cleaning should be vacuumed with the help of industrial vacuum cleaners.
Once the surface preparation has been completed, the concrete or coating adhered surface must be prepared for the application of UV-resistant Real PU 100 Topcoat.
APPLICATION DETAILS
Provided that it complies with the ideal surface and weather conditions specified above;
Application should not be made in weather conditions below +10⁰C, above +30⁰C, in rainy and/or windy weather. When necessary, the ambient and floor temperature should be idealized with the help of heaters. It should not be used on surfaces where moisture escapes.
Real PU 100, whose mixture is completed, is applied to the surface with the help of a roller brush. It must be ensured that a non-porous layer is formed that completely covers the surface. In order to minimize joint marks, care should be taken to ensure that the joints are not yet dry when applying and the surface should be thoroughly scanned.
For correct and precise color matching, ensure that Real PU 100 with the same production/serial number is used in each area.
If heating is needed; Gas, oil, paraffin or similar fossil fuel heaters should not be used. These substances affect the surface appearance. which may affect; CO₂ and H₂O produce high amounts of water vapor. Therefore, use only electric heating systems that blow warm air.
At an average temperature of +20⁰C, the mixture should be consumed in a maximum of 200 minutes. Waiting time between coats is at least 10 hours and at most 48 hours at +20⁰C. If it is waited for more than 48 hours, the surface should be roughened with sandpaper. It fully cures and reaches its mechanical and chemical resistance in a minimum of 7 days.
Curing times of polyurethane resin-based products vary depending on climatic conditions. The chemical reaction time and, accordingly, the working time also vary. Therefore These details should be taken into consideration during application. In low temperature conditions, the chemical reaction slows down. In this case, the usage time, the coating time on the material and the working hours are affected.;extends the image. After the coating application is completed, the floor should be protected from direct contact with water for at least 24 hours. Otherwise, carbonation and softening will occur in the area where the water comes into contact, causing the coating to lose its properties. If such a situation occurs, the entire coating should be removed from the ground and reapplied.
In order to protect the surface image that becomes available after the application of Real PU 100, three; Particles spilled on it must be cleaned immediately; Surface cleaning machines should be cleaned regularly using rotary brushes, high pressure washers, vacuum cleaners and appropriate cleaning and polishing materials.
Epoxy and polyurethane based floor systems should be applied by expert applicators.
