Terrazzo Flooring Systems is a modern floor coating solution that combines decorative appearance with high-performance flooring technology. Colored marble, granite chips, or approved aggregates are blended with a pigmented, high-solids epoxy resin to create a strong troweled mortar system. After application, the surface is ground and polished to reveal the natural beauty of the aggregates within the coordinating epoxy matrix.

Terrazzo Flooring Systems is a multi-layer professional flooring system. Before application, the existing concrete surface is inspected, properly prepared, and made suitable for the selected flooring system.
The general application structure is as follows:
Primer Application
A primer is applied to the prepared concrete surface to support strong adhesion between the substrate and the terrazzo system.
Optional Crack-Bridging Membrane
Depending on project and surface requirements, a membrane system can be applied for crack suppression, durability, and waterproofing. Fiberglass scrim reinforcement can also be used to improve tensile strength and crack isolation.
Terrazzo Mortar / Grout Layer
Pigmented epoxy resin is mixed with colored marble, granite, or approved aggregates and applied with a trowel. This layer forms the decorative and durable main body of the floor.
Grinding and Polishing
After the mortar system cures, the surface is ground and polished. This process reveals the natural appearance of the aggregates and creates a smooth, refined, and aesthetic finish.
Sealer / Protective Topcoat
A protective sealer is applied to improve surface protection, cleanability, and long-term performance.
For terrazzo flooring to perform properly, product selection, surface preparation, application thickness, expected chemical exposure, and traffic level should be evaluated according to the needs of each project. Cleaning solutions, sanitizing chemicals, processing substances, exposure concentrations, and cleanup times should also be considered during system selection.
